Electrical Infrastructure Update
15 December 2025 - (0:00)
The next phase of the electrical infrastructure upgrade work is due to take place from 16th January to 27th February 2026 for holiday homes at Larks Rise, which will be a construction site whilst re-cabling and replacement of the electrical cabinets takes place. Some preparational work will start the first week in January. From a Health & Safety perspective holiday homes at both Larks Rise and Trout Beck should not be visited during this period; access will only be possible through permission from the Sales office. The electricity supply will be off throughout this period at Larks Rise. Trout Beck will also be without power from 27th January to 3rd February inclusive.
At Larks Rise and Trout Beck, holiday homes should be drained down (as normal) and appliances switched off, and all fridge/freezers emptied during this time. Please consider attending after this period to check on your holiday home if you wish to do so.
Once complete, the new infrastructure will allow us to provide a larger electrical supply to each holiday home should owners wish to upgrade or add additional facilities to their holiday homes; it will also provide more resilience & future-proof the network. The work will also allow us to add to the upgraded fibre internet infrastructure at Larks Rise and Trout Beck. The final phase of electrical upgrade at Trout Beck, is due to start in January 2027, for completion by 1st March 2027.
In January we will also be commencing the installation of a new mains drain; this is an extensive project with the first phase commencing from the Health Club car park, across Beech Drive to Chestnut Drive, and across the sales ground. We anticipate this part of the project will take four weeks, and whilst there will be roadworks in place, we hope to keep Beech Drive and Chestnut Drive open throughout this time.
