Leaving Ribby Hall Village

Q: Are all facilities included within the price of my holiday?
Included within the price of your accommodation, you have unlimited use of:

  • Family fun swimming pool comprising water slides, spa pools, water features, steam room and sauna
  • Adult swimming pool with a state-of-the-art steam room, spa pool and loungers.
  • Four fishing ponds (Passes are available to purchase on arrival for fishing at our main pond Fishermans Reach.) Licence required for those 12 years and over. Check at the time of booking for availability of all ponds as we are required to close them at any time to preserve the ecology of the pond.
  • Outdoor adventure playground for children.
  • Selected family entertainment (Ask for details at time of booking)
  • Selected aqua aerobics classes
  • Indoor play area for children

An abundance of additional sport, leisure, dining and entertainment facilities are also available. (Additional charges apply).

Q: If our party details change, do we need to let Ribby Hall Village know?
Yes, please do let us know as soon as possible if your party details change. We will endeavour to make the necessary amendments, and will forward you a revised confirmation letter. We reserve the right to charge £25 per amendment to your original booking.

Q: Can we sleep 7 people in a 3 bedroom cottage?
Unfortunately, the maximum amount of guests per 3 bedroom cottage is six persons, excluding infants in cots.

Q: Can we pay on arrival / departure?
A £75 deposit will secure your short break / holiday. Your balance must be paid within six weeks of your arrival date. For all reservations made within six weeks of arrival, payment in full is required.

Q: Are the tariffs quoted on this website per person?
All tariffs quoted are per cottage / hotel suite, not per person.

Q: What is the minimum amount of nights you can stay?
Short break and holiday guest can stay in self catering cottages for either three, four, seven or more nights. Look out however for details of special offers, whereby additional nights can be purchased at discount rates.

Our hotel and Lodge is available on a nightly basis or for longer stays.

Q: Are the cottages suitable for guests with special needs?
We welcome guests with restricted mobility, special needs or care requirements provided you have discussed and agreed the suitability of the accommodation with a member of the reservations team prior to booking. To avoid disappointment and any misunderstanding regarding your preferred accommodation, you will be asked to provide (at the time of booking) a risk assessment certificate for any guests with special needs. Such discussions will also enable us to provide the most suitable accommodation, as adapted accommodation is limited, and will allow us to highlight any possible difficulties during your stay. Our sports and leisure complex has dedicated changing facilities.

Q: What public transport is available to and from Ribby Hall Village?
There are bus services to and from Ribby Hall Village. The closest railway station is "Kirkham and Wesham" only a five minute drive / taxi journey away. There are also regular buses to the neighboring towns throughout the day and evening.

Q: What time can we arrive at Ribby Hall Village?
You are welcome to arrive and use our facilities from 12 noon. We do aim to have your accommodation ready for your arrival by 4pm.

Q: Can we bring pets?
With the exception of guide dogs, we do not allow pets in our accommodation.

Q: Can we park our cars outside our cottage?
All cottages have car parking space for one car only. Additional parking can also be found within 50 metres of your cottage.

Q: Do we need to provide our own bed linen and towels?
No, you do not need to bring your own bed and cot linen. Guests do however need to bring their own towels (Excludes The Hotel). Guests also have the option to request additional changes of bed linen – however additional charges apply.

Q: Are there telephones in the cottages?
Although there are no telephones in the cottages, there are a number of pay telephones throughout The Village.

Q: Can friends and relatives come and visit us whilst we are staying at Ribby Hall Village?
Yes, your friends and relatives can visit you at your cottage. Day passes must however be purchased from our sport and leisure reception, or by telephoning 01772 682 000. Passes cost £12 per adult and £6 per child and are subject to availability. Guests must make their own arrangements to meet day visitors as we are not able to provide a messaging service. To ensure the privacy and safety of our guests we are also unable to give guest details to any day visitors.

Q: Can children of any age use the family fun swimming pool?
Everyone is welcome in the family fun swimming pool. In accordance with the Health and Safety Executive and the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management the following swim ratios must be adhered to: 1 adult and 1 child under four years old, 1 adult to 2 children aged 4-7 years old, 1 adult to 4 children aged 8-12 years old.

Q: Do we need to pre-book meals and activities?
To avoid disappointment, we do suggest that guests pre-book table reservations. Pre-booking, however, is not mandatory.

Q: What time do we have to leave Ribby Hall Village?
Your cottage must be vacated by 10am on your day of departure and your keys retuned to the main reception. You can, however, use all other facilities on the day of your departure up to 4pm.
