Social & Charity

We have a number of initiatives that enable us to support the local community, including charity work & sponsorships.

Charity Committee

We have set up a charity committee with team members from across The Village. The committee meets monthly to discuss ideas around how to support community-based projects, our annual calendar of charity events (the funds raised here go towards our chosen Ribby Hall Village charity), and to review charity requests.

We receive many charity requests from members of the public each year. We would of course love to support all charities if we possibly could, however, unfortunately this is not possible, so we have set up guidelines to help us with our decision making. These guidelines stipulate that charities we support must be local, in the Fylde and surrounding areas, that have a link to supporting children. Special cases are reviewed.

Charity Calendar of Events

The charity committee also come together to plan and roll out an annual calendar of events in order to raise money for our chosen charitable causes. This includes events such as cake bakes, race sponsorships, Christmas jumper days, Operation Christmas Drop, where our employees bring Christmas presents onsite, these presents are then delivered to children in care and more.

Employee Charity Sponsorship Matching

Ribby Hall Village has pledged to support its employees' money-raising efforts for charity by matching any charity sponsorships raised up to £500.

Vouchers

We also support our local community by helping them to raise money for worthwhile causes. Annually, we give away approximately £25,000 worth of vouchers to a variety of local charitable causes to be used for fundraising in raffles and auctions.

‘Share the Magic’

Over the past year, we’ve donated up to £5000 across 10 local schools as part of our 'Share the Magic' Christmas campaign, helping schools purchase essential items such as books, new play areas and equipment for the children in a time of financial difficulty in the UK.

Sports Team Sponsorships

As the future of tomorrow, our strategy aims to support local children to promote a healthier lifestyle through sponsoring local children's sports teams. We currently sponsor St Annes Green's Under 11s (pictured), Kirkham Juniors Under 9's local football team, and Lytham Juniors Under 14's local football team (pictured). All of these teams are so proud to wear the Ribby Hall Village logo on their kits!

Doing Our Bit

Our employees like to take a hands on approach and do their bit for the local area too! We’ve joined forces with Keep Britain Tidy and encourage our teams to get down to our nearby coast to help keep our beautiful local beaches that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep clean and tidy.
