We are now looking for a confident, welcoming, and service‑focused Senior Spa Host to play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of our acclaimed spa experience.
About the Role
As Senior Spa Host, you will be the first point of contact for our spa guests, creating a warm and memorable welcome that sets the standard for their entire visit. You will oversee the guest journey from arrival to departure, support the Spa Host and Reception teams, and ensure all spa areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and tranquillity.
Working closely with the Spa Management Team, you will lead by example, uphold luxury service standards, and help deliver a calm, seamless, and exceptional spa experience that reflects our award‑winning reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised welcome to all spa guests
- Oversee the smooth day‑to‑day flow of the spa guest journey, ensuring a calm and well‑organised environment
- Support and guide Spa Hosts and Receptionists, leading by example and maintaining high service standards
- Ensure all spa facilities, including wet areas, relaxation spaces, outdoor areas, and changing rooms, are clean, safe, and well presented
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, or concerns
- Monitor guest comfort and wellbeing throughout the spa experience
- Assist with maintaining appropriate stock levels of robes, towels, amenities, and refreshments
- Support spa retail by promoting products and providing knowledgeable recommendations where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with therapists, reception, management, and the Zen Garden Bar to ensure a relaxing, respectful, and seamless guest experience
- Oversee general day‑to‑day spa operations, supporting the team to deliver service excellence
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and operational standards
- Report maintenance/refurbishment issues using the internal ticketing system.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing or hospitality role, ideally within a spa environment
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest care
- Confidence working in and around licensed wet and thermal spa areas
- First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑focused in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable
- Experience within a spa, wet‑side leisure, or thermal environment
- Knowledge of health and safety considerations within wet or thermal facilities
- Pool Plant Level 2 qualification or willingness to work towards Level 2 (and Level 3)
Availability
We are recruiting for multiple Senior Spa Host positions and offer a range of flexible working hours and are keen to discuss availability with applicants to find arrangements that suit both the individual and the business.
Hours may be structured across full‑time and/or part‑time positions, depending on experience, flexibility, and overall suitability.
Full flexibility is required, including availability to work weekends and bank or public holidays, in order to meet the commercial needs of the business
Salary
£13.35 per hour.
