Award winning Spa Hotel seeks an enthusiastic and organised Hotel Receptionist 
 
An opportunity has arisen within the Village for a Hotel Receptionist at our Luxury Spa Hotel. 
 
The successful candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate significant expertise of operating in a busy sales and customer focused environment, together with a passion for the Hospitality industry.

A welcoming and professional Hotel Receptionist to ensure the smooth running of The Spa Hotel Reception. 
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Hotel industry to ensure that all our Guests receive a 5 Star Welcome. Based on Reception you will be key to contributing to the first impressions of all guests; the friendly face that welcomes them on arrival and ensures that on departure their stay with us has been to the highest standard. 
 
The main duties of the role will be: 

  • Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Check Guests In/Out the Hotel
  • Dealing with enquiries and assisting where required
  • Checking all guests bookings prior to their arrival and use initiative to enhance guests stays
  • Contacting guests to ensure we have all the relevant information for their stay
  • Being on hand to help with any Health & Safety assistance
  • Prepare bills and take payments
  • Dealing with complaints empathetically and aim for a positive outcome
  • Working in a busy Hotel, cross checking with other departments and systems to ensure the guests stay runs smoothly.

Availability: 
This role is permanent, offering 32 hours over 4 days in a department that operates 7 days a week.  
 
Full flexibility to work weekends, early mornings from 7am and evenings to 9pm is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
