Health Club at peak of fitness seeks skilled and dependable Pool Supervisor to join the lifeguard team. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pool Supervisor to join our team at The Health Club. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and experience working in a swimming pool environment. 

As Pool Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests and members. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Swim Complex, supervise a team of Lifeguards, and maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Pool plant room experience is desirable, and while a Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification is preferred, training can be provided for the right candidate.

The main duties of the role will be: 

  • Ensure guests feel safe and welcome in all pool areas 
  • Supervise and maintain the safety of swimmers at all times 
  • Manage the daily operations of the Swim Complex 
  • Conduct regular pool testing and cleanliness checks 
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations 
  • Maintain written procedures and risk assessments 
  • Support Lifeguard team training and qualification upkeep 
  • Plant room contro 
  • Lead and support the Lifeguard’s to a high standard
  • Respond effectively to emergencies following established procedures 

Our perfect match will possess the following essential attributes: 

  • Current NPLQ and ideally Pool Plant qualification 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • First Aid knowledge and confidence in emergency situations 
  • A team player with enthusiasm and a commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Immaculate personal presentation and hygiene standards 

This post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to the nature of the business.  

Availability: 
We have 1 permanent, full time position offering 40 hours over 5 days in a department that operates 7 days a week. 
 
Full flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business. 
 
Salary:
