Casual Kitchen Porter - Terrazza

An opportunity has arisen within the Village for a Kitchen Porter to work within our Terrazza kitchen. The purpose of the role is to assist the smooth running of the kitchen. The chosen candidate will be working closely with the Kitchen and Front of House Teams to carry out a variety of duties to improve the operational effectiveness of the department. 

Interested in: 

An enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to work closely with our chefs, providing support to deliver a smooth service to our diners.  

The chosen candidate will be keen to work in all areas of the kitchen, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, helping chefs, assisting with deliveries, and learning simple food preparation skills. It is important that you are friendly, helpful and keen to get involved with excellent standards of hygiene and attention to detail.  

Our kitchen porters need to stay one step ahead in a fast-moving, customer focused environment. 

 

Our perfect match will possess the following attributes: 

  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety Compliance. 
  • Resilience and the ability to perform well under pressure 
  • Excellent time keeping and attendance 
  • Flexibility  

 

Availability: 

We have one zero-hour, casual working position available in a department that operates 7 days a week.   

 Full flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business. 

 

Salary: 

We are proud to offer competitive hourly rates in excess of the National Minimum Wage.
