 Leading holiday entertainment and family-friendly venue, is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to help deliver high-quality, modern dining crafted from the finest locally sourced ingredients. 

The HIVE is a firm favourite with our Holiday Guests and Holiday Homeowners alike, with a variety of offerings for everyone from a brand new bar area, dining facilities and family entertainment with lively day time activities and impressive night time entertainment. 
 
Interested in: 
A chef with good all round experience on all sections to work within a team producing food of the highest standard for our guests. Natural flair, creativity and a passion for cooking will underpin this role in support of the Kitchen Leadership team. 

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of duties whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance productivity and service, help to manage spend and contribute to producing a significant profit. 
 
The main duties of the role will be: 

  • Providing support to the Head Chef & Sous Chef and in their absence, assuming day to day ownership of the kitchen team. 
  • Supporting the development of the junior chefs to ensure the business continues to develop and grow in line with its values and objectives. 
  • Food safety will form an integral part of your accountabilities in support of the Head Chef.   Therefore, a working knowledge and practical application of Safer Food Better Business Systems and allergen requirements for modern menus would be a requirement.

  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills 

 
Availability: 
This position is full time, offering 45 hours per week. Full flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.  
 
Salary:
