The role
Ribby Hall Village has a diverse range of dining venues, from relaxed family dining to premium restaurant‑style experiences and busy service environments. Junior Sous Chef roles sit within individual venues, allowing you to develop strong section leadership while being part of a wider culinary team.
Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will:
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
- Lead and motivate a section during service
- Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and allergen standards
- Assist with training and developing Commis and Apprentice Chefs
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm while continuing to sharpen your technical and leadership skills
This role is ideal for a chef who wants genuine responsibility, development and a clear path towards a full Sous Chef position.

Salary & Hours
- Full‑time, 45 hours per week.
- £37,000 based on experience and qualifications.
- Venue‑specific tip distribution where applicable.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings is required to meet business needs.
- No live‑in accommodation available
