Interested in:
A Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner with knowledge of the EYFS.  You will have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience of working with colleagues to meet the needs of the children and of working with children and their families in a positive and sensitive way.  

The main duties of the role will include:

  • To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
  • Contributing to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Nursery.
  • Support the Nursery Management team in the planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child's individual development in a stimulating atmosphere.
  • Working within environmental, accident reporting, health and safety and fire regulations.
  • Lead the Nursery Team in line with our company Vision and Values.
  • Identify, develop, and implement opportunities to increase the efficiency, quality, and affordability within the Nursery.
  • Ensure that the preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the nursery playrooms, kitchen and equipment are carried out according to the Policies & Procedures and risk assessments.

  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good IT Skills, familiarity with Microsoft packages.
  • Early Years Educator Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification

This post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to the nature of the business.

Availability: The position offers 38 hours per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday.
 
Flexibility may be required to provide support during periods of sickness or holidays is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
 
Salary: £12.95 per hour.
