Health & Safety

Welcome back,

We are delighted to confirm that we will be safely re-opening The SPA Hotel’s doors to our loyal guests on Thursday 30 July.

Whether you’ve already booked, or are considering a post lockdown treat, you can now enjoy your visit with confidence. We will be following government guidelines to ensure that our guests and teams remain safe; alongside a choice of new and very tempting experiences. Just days prior to lockdown, our Aqua Thermal Journey was enhanced with a new Reflexology Walkway and Infrared Seating making for an even more calming and sumptuous experience.

The way we operate may look a little different, but we believe that a safe environment is fundamental and that will never change. We have always had rigorous cleaning procedures and hygiene protocols in place and yet every single procedure has been reassessed and enhanced, and new ones have been introduced. As you would expect, our teams have been re-inducted and retrained in our new working ways. We can’t wait to welcome you back to The SPA Hotel.

Andrew Scott, Hotel Manager

We've made adjustments, including reducing capacity throughout The Spa Hotel, to ensure social-distancing. We politely ask guests to follow the signage and adhere to current Government guidelines.

Enhanced cleaning

We've enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting regimes, especially at high-touch point areas. Regular deep cleans will take place throughout the building.

Hand sanitiser stations

We've increased the amount of hand sanitiser stations throughout the Hotel and Spa facilities. We encourage guests to wash their hands before entering, frequently during your visit and when leaving.

One-way system

Both overnight and day spa guests should enter through the hotel main entrance. We'll have a one-way system in operation throughout the building.

Arrive 'Spa Ready'

When using the spa facilities, including the Aqua Thermal Journey, we'll be asking guests to arrive 'spa ready'. Swimwear should be worn under clothes (or robe for overnight guests) to help reduce the amount of guests using the changing rooms. Guests will be allocated a pre-loaded locker on arrival.

Spa changes

Some of our treatments and Aqua Thermal Journey facilities remain temporarily unavailable. We continue to monitor Government guidance during this phased reopening. For more details on our Spa facilities please click here

Face coverings

In the interest of everyone’s health we would very much appreciate your co-operation with wearing face coverings whenever you see posters advertising their use. Face coverings should be during treatments. We'll be asking our therapists and team members to do the same to keep everyone safe.

Table service

All our meals, including breakfast, will be table service only. In-room dining is temporarily unavailable.

Contactless payments

We encourage the use of contactless payment methods where possible to help reduce contact and keep everyone safe.

Team Training

Our teams are ready to welcome you and we've introduced new procedures and training to keep both them and our guests safe.

Please note, as part of our safety measures, we may need to close certain facilities at short notice.
