Information for Customers - Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Statement last updated Tuesday 24th March 2020

Dear All,

Thank you for your continued support during this time of uncertainty.

Due to the Government’s most recent announcements and advice, it is with great sadness that Ribby Hall Village will be temporarily closing its gates for the first time in 25 years.

Ribby Hall Village will temporarily close from Tuesday 24th March until further notice.

For customers impacted by this closure, please see our FAQs below for what to do next.

We know this is an extremely difficult time for everyone and our focus is now on supporting our employees and local community.

Please stay safe, stay at home, and we look forward to welcoming you all back at a later date. Thank you to all our loyal customers and employees for your cooperation, understanding and continued support during this time.

We sincerely hope to come back stronger than ever in the future!

I have booked a self-catering holiday or spa break, what are my options?

We would love to welcome you back on an alternative date. You may reschedule your break with no amendment fee. We understand this may not be possible for everyone and if you prefer a refund you may, of course, take this option.

When will I hear from you?

Our phone lines are currently closed. However, we are in process of contacting all guests impacted by this closure. You will hear from us via email in due course.

I have a spa day, dining reservation or other experience booked, what should I do?

Spa days, dining reservations and other bookings may be moved to an alternative date with no amendment fee. If you decide to cancel, we will of course provide a full refund.

We are in the process of contacting guests who have reservations.

I am a holiday home owner, can I access my home?

Following the Statement from the Prime Minister on Monday 23rd March, regrettably we feel we have no option but to close our privately owned Holiday Homes, in line with our social responsibilities, which is now of paramount importance.

We are asking all owners to vacate their property by Thursday 26th March at 18:00hrs.  We apologise for having to take this action but feel it is necessary to protect everyone’s health and safety.

We will be in contact with our valued owners directly with further details of this closure.

I have a health club membership, what are my options?

We want to help our valued members during this very difficult time. We will not be collecting any further direct debits and your membership will immediately be frozen.  Any membership time owed, including annual payments, will be credited for the period of closure.

We are in the process of contacting Members directly.

I have a wedding booked, what should I do?

Couples who have weddings booked before 30th June 2020 will be contacted by our weddings team to discuss the options available. Any couples with weddings booked after this date, and who are looking to reschedule, should contact and a member of our team will get back to you to discuss the options available. Please be patient as our team are working hard to support everyone at this difficult time and will be prioritising those with weddings in the next three months.

I have an event or conference booked, what should I do?

We encourage all customers to reschedule their event or conference with us for a later date. We understand you'll have many questions and concerns and our team are on hand to help support you with this.

We are in the process of contacting all customers impacted by this closure.

Am I still able to use other facilities?

As of today (24th March 2020) all venues and locations at Ribby Hall Village are temporarily closed. Our phone lines will no longer be in operation until further notice.
