Q: Can I change the wedding breakfast menus?
Your menu can be tailored made to your requirements. Our excellent team of chefs will work with you to create a menu of your choice. We can also create your own evening buffet menu and drinks package, all within your agreed budget.
Q: Do you decorate the ceremony table?
Ribby Hall Village provides a cushion for the rings and a candle arrangement.
Q: What sort of music can we have for the ceremony?
Ribby Hall Village can help you organise many different forms of music i.e. harpists, flutist etc. We will also play any CD music that you would like to use for the ceremony.
Q: Is there a red carpet?
Yes we do provide a luxurious red carpet.
Q: Is there a room hire charge?
The standard civil ceremony charge is £350. There is no further room hire charge unless the numbers for the wedding breakfast falls below 60 guests; all the above information is contained within wedding terms & conditions.
Q: Do you decorate the tables?
Ribby Hall Village supplies all linen, cutlery, china, crockery, glass wear and a fresh flower arrangement for the top table to match the colours of your wedding.
Q: What do I need to do to book a civil ceremony at Ribby Hall Village?
Provisionally reserve the date with us, and then telephone Lancashire Register Office on 01772 533800 and book the time & date with them. On confirmation with Ribby Hall Village, let us know all the details.
Q: How long can we provisionally hold a suite before we pay the deposit?
Two weeks.
Q: Do you recommend a DJ?
Ribby Hall Village has various DJs who are highly recommended. The cost is £250 inclusive of vat. We are also happy for you to select your own DJ, further details are available on request.
Q: Can you accommodate guests with special dietary requirements?
Ribby Hall Village has an extensive team of accomplished chefs who are happy to accommodate any of your guests with any dietary requirements.
Q: At what stage do we go through all the finer points of the day?
We will invite you back to The Village three months before your wedding to go through the whole day and will ensure you have a single point of contact to discuss any alterations or queries you may have leading up to your special day.
Q: When will you require the final numbers for the wedding reception?
Seven days before your wedding day.
Q: Is there anyone available to act as a toastmaster?
A manager from the wedding team will act as your toast master for the day, we will help organise the receiving line; announce the bride & groom into the room; and introduce the cake cutting and speeches.
Q: Is there an area for photographs?
We have a landscaped garden available which can be used exclusively by you and your wedding party. The garden is an ideal place for photographs and is also a pleasant area for guests wishing to sit or socialise outside. The Bride and Groom are also welcome to use the award-winning hotel as a backdrop for their photographs. Should you wish to view The Village grounds, to select preferred locations for your photographs, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Q: What time does the bar close?
Last orders are called at 12.30 am for a 1am close. (Mon - Sat). On a Sunday the bar is licensed for 11pm last orders and a 11.30pm close.
