Job Description
An exciting and challenging role based in the Banqueting operation with additional responsibilities to provide support for the Bar and Grill, Family and Adult Entertainment venue wehn required. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in a similar role with knowledge of a banqueting operation, as the venue has a core of corporate business. City & Guilds 706/ 1 & 2 or NVQ level 1 - 3 qulifications would be desirable together with two years experience. This role would suit someone who is a Demi Chef de Partie, who is looking for their next move, or a Senior Chef de Partie in a smaller establishment who would like to gain experience in a larger venue. The following skills and expertise are also required: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deli ver qualtiy food to tight timescales, A passion for high standards and quaility food, A flexible attitude and approach to the business, A desire to be successful, Experience of Continental cuisine would be an asset, The ability to train, develop and motivate junior staff to reach high standards, Excellent personal presentation and communications skills. This position is full time, up to 48 hours per week.
