Ribby Hall Village is bucking the current economic climate trend and needs to urgently recruit to fill fifteen part and full-time holistic, massage and beauty therapist positions at The Spa Hotel.
Two recruitment open days are being held at The Spa Hotel on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th September from 12pm to 8pm to encourage qualified and experienced beauty therapists through the door.
Candidates should ideally have some experience operating in a busy Beauty Salon or Spa environment and be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or BTEC National Diploma Standard. Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential.
Interested candidates can simply walk-in on the day, but it is preferable to phone and make an appointment in advance in order to be seen quickly. On the day, candidates will be interviewed, will meet the Spa Manager and will also be asked to carry out a trade test which could be a facial, a massage or a manicure.
The £6 million Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village is currently celebrating its first birthday and is unrivalled in the region with its unique aqua thermal journey and beauty therapies. A year in and the Spa Hotel has already achieved an award; The Red Rose Award for ‘Tourism & Leisure Business of the Year’; is a finalist in the Good Spa Awards 2012 (which awarded The Spa Hotel its’ highest accolade of five bubbles) and was rated no.2 in The Independent Newspapers ’50 Best Spas’ in the UK.
Paul Harrison, Managing Director at Ribby Hall Village comments:
“The business levels we have achieved in the 1st year have surpassed our highest expectations and that is why we are currently recruiting additional staff to The Spa Hotel. We have a beautiful Spa, fabulous suites and a Brasserie offering exceptional food, but, ultimately, it is our dedicated staff who are by far the most important aspect of our business and the reason why we see so many of our guests returning to the Spa Hotel. It makes us incredibly excited about what we can achieve in our 2nd year.”
