John McIlwham, Senior Manager – Health, Safety & Wellness at Ribby Hall Village explains: “When we opened The Spa Hotel back in 2011 I envisaged we would one day offer dedicated wellbeing packages and therapies and taking the time to find the right expertise to partner with us was fundamental.  I’m therefore delighted that we’re now working with Wellness International Ltd.  In today’s often manic world we want to encourage our clientele to be mindful of their health and wellbeing and we firmly believe with the combined expertise of our highly trained therapists together with the clinical and expert nutritional advice provided by Wellness International Ltd, that our all-new wellness suite is the perfect place to provide this.

Just some of the expert advice and packages now provided by Wellness International Ltd at The SPA Hotel include: nutritional support; food intolerance testing; food allergy testing; nutritional therapy and weight management programmes; alongside general health and wellbeing testing.

Working with Wellness International The Wellness Suite aims to help clients identify and understand any underlying health issues.  The specialist team of doctors, physiotherapists, personal trainers and lifestyle coaches will stay with the client beyond the initial assessment.

ORANGERY ILLUSTRATION

Already voted Hotel of the Year by Lancashire Life Magazine, The Spa Hotel is now proud to present The Orangery; a sensational NEW dining experience serving modern British food and un-rivalled, friendly hospitality.

The Orangery’s exquisite interior design and décor reflects it’s modern and fresh approach to British cuisine.

Following on from the success of the SPA Hotel’s original dining option, ‘The Brasserie’ which holds two AA Rosettes and is recommended in the 2013/2014 Michelin Guide, The all-new Orangery takes pride of place to the front of The SPA Hotel.  Diners can look forward to relishing delicious food within a relaxed and friendly setting whilst also enjoying views of the large pond, fountain and alfresco dining options for the warmer months.

Hosting up to 60 diners at any one time, Hotel Manager Andrew Scott and his attentive front of house team are very much looking forward to opening The Orangery’s doors to the general public later this month.

Using only the very best of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, Head Chef Michael Noonan has expertly crafted new menus, which will be available seven days a week:  lunch (open 12 midday – 2pm), afternoon tea (available 3pm – 4.30pm) and evening menus (served 6pm – 9pm).  Michael and his brigade of knowledgeable chefs are raring to go in their new state-of-the–art kitchen.

As Andrew Scott explains “Our aim is to provide the Fylde with a new and exciting choice of exceptionally delicious food.  In addition to our daily menus, The Orangery at The SPA Hotel will be hosting regular gastronomic themed evenings and wine tasting dinners.  We are also hoping to entice diners with a discerning palate from the local area as well as the broader Lancashire region.”

Andrew Scott continues “The Orangery is just phase one of our 2015 expansion plans here at The SPA Hotel, our next phase will include a new Bar & Lounge area – which again will be open to the general public and our Spa Hotel residents alike to experience.”

The Orangery’s first event will be held on Friday 27th February 2015, a French Wine & Dinner Evening featuring Laurent Perrier.  Guests will be served drinks and canapés on arrival and a five course taster menu will be accompanied by a carefully selected flight of wine and champagne.  Reservations are priced £75 per person.
