THE SPA HOTEL AT RIBBY HALL VILLAGE IS NOMINATED IN THE GOOD SPA AWARDS 2012 BEST HOTEL IN THE UK AND BEST SPA IN THE NORTH WEST

The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village is delighted to be nominated in the Good Spa Awards 2012. The Spa Hotel has been nominated in the National Awards as ‘Best Hotel’ and in the Regional Awards for ‘Best Spa in the North West’. Voting opens on Tuesday 19th June and closes on Friday, 31st August 2012. Winners will be announced in September (date TBC).
The Spas nominated in the National category have been selected by the Good Spa Guide’s expert panel, who will also decide the winners. The 38 finalists have been chosen from the many spas reviewed by the Good Spa Guide over the past year, spanning the length and breadth of the UK.
The Spa Hotel is also nominated in the regional category. Spas nominated in this category have all been reviewed by The Good Spa Guide and have received the highest rating of 5 BUBBLES. The winners in this category are chosen by the public. For each region, the Spa with the highest number of votes by the public will be crowned winner.

Business & Banqueting win a Bronze Award at the 2012 Visit England Awards for Excellence 2012

Ribby Hall Village’s Business & Banqueting has won a Bronze Award in the Business Tourism Award category at the prestigious Visit England Awards for Excellence 2012 Ceremony.
The Bronze Award is a great achievement and recognises Excellence in Tourism in England. The Business & Banqueting team was presented with their Bronze Award at a glittering Awards Ceremony which was held on 22 May 2012 at Athena, an art deco gem located in the heart of Leicester’s cultural quarter.
Commenting on the award, James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said: ”In a year when we received a record of 392 high quality applications, winning a Bronze Award is a considerable achievement. Ribby Hall Village’s Business & Banqueting is now ranked in the top 3 businesses in their category for Excellence achieving one of the highest accolades which Visit England can bestow. I warmly congratulate them”.
The Business & Banqueting team received their award from James Berresford, Chief Executive of Visit England. The Business Tourism Award is being sponsored by Barclaycard.

Sport & Leisure now offers FREE crèche facilities to members who have children aged from 6 months to 6 years. The new crèche runs Monday to Friday from 9am – 10.30am and fits around a varied choice of fitness classes from 9.15am each day including Zumba, BodyPump, Interval Training and Spinning. Children’s Christmas Tree Decorating

Christmas isn’t Christmas without a tree, so what could be more exciting than coming along to make Christmas decorations to adorn your very own home for years to come.
Each child (aged 1-15 years) will receive their very own mini live potted Christmas Tree which they can then make items to decorate as they wish. Offering groups of up to 20 children per session, your little ones will not only have lots of fun making and decorating, they will have their very own Tree for Christmas, the trees can then be planted in the garden at home in the New Year.
These fantastic activities are FREE of charge. All activities must be booked in advance.
