Ribby Hall Village restaurants and bars amongst the best on the Fylde Coast

In the recent food standards hygiene report six of Ribby Hall Villages eateries scored 5/5 with a rating of very good. These include the family friendly Bar & Grill, Harrisons Bar, Starbucks, the Island Club House, the Business and Banqueting department and the Village Life Shop. Other eateries on The Village that scored high at 4/5 include Papa John’s Pizza Store and Takeaway and The Restaurant.
The five-star holiday Village and conference centre prides itself on high standards and fantastic service and this latest review is a testament to its commitment. Paul Green, Food and Beverage Manager said “We have received fantastic feedback from the food standards agency on the eateries that have been inspected and it’s great to see these reports in the public domain”.
The new scheme helps consumers choose where to eat out or shop for food giving them precise, up to date information on the hygiene standards in restaurants, pubs, takeaways, hotels and other establishments. Each business is given a hygiene rating from their local authority and the rating shows how closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law. Ranging from 0 – 5 where 0 is ‘urgent improvement necessary’ and 5 is ‘very good’, the report has been welcomed by food establishments to guide consumers to those eateries that are performing well. Amongst those eateries in the Kirkham and Lytham St Anne’s areas that have been inspected Ribby Hall Village achieved excellent results.
The eateries featured in the report not only cater for holiday guests, but many of them including Starbucks and The Restaurant welcome the general public on a daily basis. Ribby Hall Village Shortlisted in First Ever Health Club Awards Voted for by the Public!

Ribby Hall Village, the Wrea Green based health club has been recognised for its quality of service and value for money in the Members Choice Health Club Awards 2011. The unique scheme measures the quality of customer service, facilities and value provided by clubs by asking members to rate them by completing an online questionnaire.
Simon Brown who runs the competition explains “Belonging to a good health club is a rewarding experience. Members probably spend more time there than they realise and it’s become an integral part of their lifestyle. For the club it’s not easy to get every aspect just right. It requires a lot of hard work and a belief that members should have a rewarding experience every time they visit. The Members Choice Health Club Awards aim to find out which clubs are providing the most rewarding experience by asking members to rate their club”.
“Only 90 clubs across the UK have reached the shortlist stage of the competition and every single one of them should be extremely proud of that fact. There’s no better endorsement for a club than from the customers that are using the facilities on a regular basis and that says a huge amount about the way these clubs are run”.
The competition saw over 16,000 gym members complete a questionnaire between January and March 2011. Clubs have been ranked in 15 regions, up to 10 clubs have been shortlisted in each region. In September the regionally gold, silver and bronze winners will be announced as well as the individual Grand Prix awards for Best Club in the UK.

She and her team have undergone extensive and intensive product and treatment training in advance of the opening of The Spa Hotel set for July 2011. The treatments include facial and body treatments, holistic therapies, hand and feet treats, ‘finishing touches’ and pamper packages.
