Q: What is included in a peak membership?
Peak membership includes swimming, gym, badminton, tennis, squash, table tennis, sauna, steam rooms, spa pools and fitness classes. This type of membership can be used at all times including evenings and weekends.
Q: Are all timetabled classes included in the membership?
All classes are included apart from Tai-Chi, however there is a discount for members wanting to book onto this course.
Q: Is there a dress code for the gym?
Yes, trainers must be worn at all times, no denims allowed (e.g jeans) and a top must be worn at all times.
Q: Will Body pump make my arms big?
Body pump will not bulk arms as the number of repetitions and the weights used are moderate.
Q: Would I need to pre-book the personal fitness assessment?
Yes, to ensure an instructor is available at your chosen time.
Q: Do I need to have used a gym previously?
No, as there is always an instructor available to offer their expertise and guidance, however we do advise those who are new to a gym, to undergo a personal fitness assessment.
Q: I've just had confirmation that I am pregnant. What classes can I attend?
It is recommended that any new classes should not be added to your exercise routine. Our instructors can adapt most classes. Aqua aerobics and Pilates would be the best.
Q: I am an off peak member and would like to use the gym or swimming pool at weekends and evenings. How much do I have to pay?
Off peak members do benefit from discounted rates in the evenings and at weekends. The cost is £3.50 for each activity.
Q: How old do you have to be to use the gym?
The minimum age is 16 years (14 years with a young adult membership)
Q: Are your instructors fully qualified?
All instructors are fully qualified before commencing employment at Ribby Hall Village.
Q: Can I bring a guest with me?
You may bring a guest along with you, however they are not permitted to use the adult pool. Guests can use all other facilities and pay the non-member price per activity / class.
Q: When can I use an off peak membership?
Off peak membership runs from 6.30am through to 4.30pm, however as long as you check-in at reception before 4.30pm for both the gym or swimming sessions, you can use this membership after this time.

Monday to Thursday 6.30am – 10.00pm; Friday 6.30am – 9.00pm; Saturday & Sunday 8.00am – 9.00pm
Family pool
Monday to Sunday 8.00am – 9.00pm
Gym
Monday to Thursday 6.30am – 9.30pm; Friday 6.30am – 9.00pm; Saturday & Sunday 8.00am – 9.00pm
Bank Holidays 8am - 9pm
