Sarah Taylor - HR Graduate

Your job

Sarah first joined Ribby Hall Village as a Fun Tower Assistant in 2006, while studying for her BSc Psychology Degree at Manchester University. Although she enjoyed her role supervising the children's play area and birthday parties, Sarah was looking for a more diverse and challenging position within Ribby Hall Village. On completion of her Degree, and a 6 month around the world adventure, Sarah had the opportunity to join the HR Team to complete a newly developed Graduate Scheme. 'I was so pleased and excited to join HR as I believe the team provides the strong foundations for running a successful business. It is so important to recruit the right people, to develop them and support them throughout their careers at Ribby Hall Village... and I get to deal with some challenging situations along the way!'

About you

Sarah has really become a valuable asset to the Village; not only to the HR Department. She organised our first two staff Conferences, our first Well Being Day for all employees and recently arranged two Recruitment days for the new Spa Hotel. This hasn't gone unnoticed and Sarah has been awarded 'Employee of the Month' as well as 'Rising Star' Award along the way. Sarah has recently completed her CIPD qualification and is pleased to have finished studying after 8 Years!

The lighter side of you

Sometimes working hours can be long, but Sarah is always keen to keep a good work life balance and has regular weekend trips down to London to visit friends. She says 'the overall benefits package at Ribby Hall Village is excellent, and I'm currently working on putting together a booklet for all Staff, including some great new employee benefits for all.'
