Yes all applications are acknowledged, either through the automated message via email or letter.

How do I find out the status of my application?
If you have not heard from us within 6 weeks you can assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Can I re-apply?
Yes. Applications are held on file for a limited period only, therefore, further applications can be made once a vacancy is advertised on the website.

Can I apply by post rather than online?
Yes. Simply pick up an application form or contact us and we will send the forms out to you.

Can I email Ribby Hall Village with a question or to follow up my application?

Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes, but although the selection criteria may be similar most positions are very different. Please think about the type of role that will suit you and your ultimate goals best, and only apply for appropriate vacancies.

Can I apply without permission to work in the UK?
We can only accept applications from people entitled to live and work in the United Kingdom.

What can I expect at an interview?
Friendly people and lots of questions. We will want to know all about your career to date and your aspirations and whether your skills match our core competency framework and the role for which you are applying. Of course, interviews work two ways, so you'll be encouraged to ask questions about Ribby Hall Village in return.

Do you have summer/Christmas holiday jobs available?

Yes, you will have to wear a uniform, but the actual style will depend on your role.

Are there lots of social activities?
There's a great team atmosphere at Ribby Hall Village and although we work hard, we do have play time as well, and everybody is welcome to participate in the many organised team events and social evenings.

How often is the website updated?
The vacancies we have on our site remain there until a candidate has been successful at interview and has accepted our offer of employment. However, because we are regularly interviewing people, some vacancies may have already been filled when you see them on the site.

If I apply online, can I apply again via telephone or application form?
No. All applications to join us, made either by phone, online or application form, are held centrally on the same system. So, to avoid confusion (and duplication) we ask that you apply using one method only.
