Terms & Conditions

Confirmation

The company requests that all bookings be confirmed within 14 days of being provisionally held and we then will request a non-refundable deposit of £500 & written confirmation. Once the 14 days has expired the date is released. Confirmation of a booking indicates an acceptance of these terms and conditions of booking and a legal binding between both parties. (The deposit can be transferred to another date if available for a similar function)

Event Numbers

Two months prior to the function we will invite you for your final details appointment & we will discuss the order of the event, menus, drinks packages and any special requirements. Final chargeable numbers will be required 7 days before the function along with the table plan. Please note that management reserve the right to alter prices at their discretion, bearing in mind seasonal adjustments and fluctuations in the market.

Payments Schedule

6 months prior to the event we will request a further non-refundable deposit of £1000 An invoice of the costs will be sent to you after the final details appointment & we ask for full payment of the final invoice, 7 days before the event.

Room Hire

Suites can only be reserved on the basis of minimum numbers & if minimum numbers fall below that requirement, Ribby Hall Village reserves the right to charge for the minimum numbers or an event fee, please enquire.

Cancellation of Booking

Any cancellations, all payments & deposits are lost, in the event that Ribby Hall Village are not able to re book the function suite, you will be liable to the following charges, based upon initial event enquiry details:

Amendment & Cancellation by Ribby Hall Village

We reserve the right to cancel any booking forthwith or offer alternative facilities without any responsibility on our behalf in the event of:

a.Any occurrence beyond the control of Ribby Hall Village which shall prevent us from performing our obligation towards the booking

b.If the booking might, in the opinion of Ribby Hall Village, prejudice the reputation of Ribby Hall Village

c.If the client has not fulfilled the requested prepayment schedule

Bookings made more than 9 months in advance may be subject to price alterations, with written prior notice to the client.

Event Insurance

It is strongly recommended that you take out insurance when booking such an important event. We recommend Fylde Insurance Brokers on 01772 689097/683211 for a comprehensive and competitive event insurance.

Outside Contractors

Any outside contractors employed by the client must comply with appropriate legislation and be in contact with Ribby Hall Village prior to the event and be able to provide documentation relating to their insurance (a minimum of 3rd party, liability). Ribby Hall Village are not to be held responsible for any work carried out by outside contractors. Clients may not use smoke machine, lasers, cracked oil, and dry ice without written approval from Ribby Hall Village

Damage

The client needs to obtain approval from Ribby Hall Village, if you wish to fix items to the wall or ceiling. In the event of any damage or loss to Ribby Hall Village, it is the responsibility of the organiser to make payment to replace any items lost or damaged

Consumption of Food and Drink

Consumption of food and drink other than supplied by Ribby Hall Village, is not permitted without prior agreement

Disclaimer

Ribby Hall Village can by no means take responsibility for any gifts, prizes, wedding cake, flowers or any other items applicable to the function that has not been provided by Ribby Hall.
